Overview

Wallet Templates let you create digital passes for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Recipients can add your contact or profile to their phone’s wallet and tap to open your digital business card. You can customise colours, images, and branding, use the tool across profiles (profile, team, or company), and download passes for iOS or Android.

How to Access

  • Open your profile, team, or company hub
  • Click Wallet Templates (or Wallet Pass)
  • The wallet pass generator opens

    • Step-by-Step: Creating a Wallet Pass

  • Enter your details – Name, company, contact info. These appear on the pass (pulled from your profile).
  • Add branding – Choose colours and image sources. The pass uses your profile, department, or company images.
  • Set the link – The pass opens your profile when tapped. Your profile link is used automatically.
  • Generate – Create the pass for Apple or Google Wallet.
  • Download & share – Download the pass file or open the link. Share with recipients so they can add it to their wallet.

    • Pass Types

    • Contact pass – Shows your name, company, and contact details. Tapping opens your profile.
    • Generic pass – Customisable pass with your branding and link.

    Customisation Options

    Colours

    • Background – Main pass colour. Match your brand.
    • Text (foreground) – Colour of the main text (name, company). Apple Wallet only.
    • Label – Colour of field labels (e.g. "Email", "Phone"). Apple Wallet only.

    Images

    You choose where images come from (profile, department, or company):

    • Profile photo – None, Smart (profile → department → company fallback), Profile, Department, or Company
    • Hero / banner image – Same options. The hero appears as a strip on the pass.

    Smart uses the first available: profile image, then department, then company.

    Fields (auto-filled from profile)

    • Name, job title, company
    • Email, phone, website
    • Address (if set)

    The pass links to your profile when tapped. No manual URL entry needed.

    Using the Wallet Tool Across All Profiles

    The wallet generator can be used from a profile, team, or company hub.

    Profile mode

    • Open a profile hub → Wallet
    • The pass uses that profile's data (name, contact, images)
    • Generate and download for that profile

    Team (department) mode

    • Open a team hub → Wallet
    • Use Preview As to pick which team member's profile to generate a pass for
    • Colours and image settings apply to all; each profile gets their own data and link
    • Generate a pass for any team member from one place

    Company mode

    • Open a company hub → Wallet
    • Use Preview As to pick any company profile
    • Same colours and image settings; each profile gets their own data and link
    • Generate passes for anyone in the company

    How it works

    • One design, many profiles – Set colours and image sources once. Switch profiles with Preview As to generate passes for different people.
    • Inherited images – Profile, department, and company images are available. Choose which level to use for the profile photo and hero.

    Downloading Wallet Passes

    Where to generate

    • Profile hub – Wallet tab
    • Team hub – Wallet tab (use Preview As to pick a profile)
    • Company hub – Wallet tab (use Preview As to pick a profile)

    Platforms

    • Apple Wallet (iOS) – Downloads a .pkpass file. On iPhone, opening it adds the pass to Wallet. On desktop, send the file to your phone.
    • Google Wallet (Android) – Opens a link in a new tab. Recipients add the pass to Google Wallet from that page.

    Sharing

    • iOS – Share the .pkpass file via email, AirDrop, or messaging.
    • Android – Share the Google Wallet link. Recipients open it on their Android device.

    Recipients add the pass to their wallet app. No extra app download needed for viewing.

    Tips and FAQ

    How do I share a wallet pass?

    Generate the pass and share the download link or file. Recipients open it on their phone and add it to their wallet.

    Can I update a pass after it’s been shared?

    Pass updates depend on the pass format. For major changes, generate a new pass and share it again.

    Do recipients need an account?

    No. Anyone with a compatible phone can add the pass to their wallet and tap to view your profile.

    Can I use a wallet pass in the Print File Designer?

    No. The wallet pass is a standalone digital file for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. For printed business cards, use the Print File Designer with the Profile QR Code dynamic field instead.
