Help Center › Wallet Templates - Digital Wallet Passes

Turn your digital business card into a contact pass that lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. With one tap, anyone who receives your pass can open your live profile — no app download, no searching for the file later.

Key benefits

  • Always up to date — the pass links to your live profile, so your contact details stay current even after the pass has been shared
  • No app required — recipients add the pass to their native wallet app (built into every iPhone and Android phone)
  • Professional first impression — a branded pass with your logo and colours looks more polished than a forwarded contact or a plain link
  • Works offline — once added to the wallet, the pass icon is always visible even without a data connection

Who it's for

Any NFC Tagify portal user on any plan. Individual users can generate a personal pass; company admins can generate passes for their entire team.

How to create a wallet pass

  • Go to Portal → Tools → Wallet Pass (or open it from your profile hub)
  • Your name, job title, company, and profile link are pre-filled from your profile — check and adjust if needed
  • Upload your logo (PNG, recommended 400 × 400 px or higher)
  • Choose your background colour and foreground/text colour — use your brand colours for consistency
  • Click Generate — a .pkpass file is created for Apple Wallet and a compatible pass for Google Wallet
  • Share the pass link or download the file and send it by email, message, or QR code
  • Pass types

    | Type | What it shows | Best for |

    |------|--------------|---------|

    | Contact pass | Name, company, phone/email, QR link to profile | Networking, events, everyday business use |

    | Generic pass | Custom label, branding, link only | Campaigns, landing pages, links other than a profile |

    Sharing your pass

    • Link — copy and share the pass URL; recipients tap to add it directly from their browser
    • File download — save the .pkpass file and attach it to an email or message
    • QR code — generate a QR code that links to the pass download for physical materials

    Use cases

    • Trade shows & events — hand out your pass via QR code on your badge; attendees add it before they leave
    • Remote introductions — send the pass link in a first email instead of a plain contact attachment
    • Team rollout — company admin generates passes for the whole sales team in a consistent branded style
    • Follow-ups — send the pass after a call so your contact is always a tap away in their wallet

    Frequently asked questions

Does the pass update automatically when I change my profile?

The pass contains a link to your live profile, so any changes to your profile are reflected instantly when someone taps the pass. You don't need to re-share the pass.

How do I share a wallet pass?

Generate the pass and copy the share link, or download the .pkpass file. Send it by email, message, or post the QR code on physical materials. Recipients tap or scan to add it.

Can I regenerate a pass after changing my logo or colours?

Yes. Return to the Wallet Pass generator, make your changes, and click Generate again. Share the new link or file to recipients who want the refreshed look.

    Do recipients need an account?

No. Anyone with a compatible iPhone or Android phone can add the pass. No NFC Tagify account required.

Is there a cost to use the wallet pass generator?

The wallet pass generator is included in all NFC Tagify plans at no extra charge.

How is a wallet pass different from a vCard?

A vCard is a one-time snapshot of your contact details. A wallet pass links to your live profile — so it stays current as you update your information, and it's accessible with a single tap from the wallet app rather than buried in a downloaded file.
