Help Center › Mobile App (PWA)
Overview
NFC Tagify does not require a separate download from an app store. The mobile experience is delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — a version of the portal that works directly in your phone's browser and can be installed on your home screen so it behaves like a native app.
You can access the full portal on mobile by visiting [portal.nfctagify.com](https://portal.nfctagify.com) in your mobile browser. For the best experience, install it to your home screen using the steps below.
---
What the Mobile App Is
The NFC Tagify mobile app is the same portal you use on desktop, optimised for smaller screens. It gives you access to your digital business card, analytics, and lead management from your phone — without needing to carry a laptop.
The key difference on mobile is the Scan tab, which uses your phone's camera and NFC capabilities to scan physical business cards and interact with NFC-enabled cards.
Because it is a PWA rather than a native app, there is no App Store or Google Play listing. The app is installed directly from your browser.

Key Features on Mobile
View and Share Your Profile
- Open your digital business card and share the link or QR code directly from your phone.
- Tap the share button to send your profile link via WhatsApp, email, or any other messaging app.
Scan NFC Cards
If your phone supports NFC (most modern Android and iPhone 7 and later do), you can tap an NFC Tagify card against the back of your phone to open that person's profile immediately — no camera required.
On iPhone, NFC tag reading works in the background when the phone is unlocked; no special in-app action is required.
Scan Business Cards
Use the Scan tab to photograph a paper business card. NFC Tagify will extract the contact details and create a lead entry automatically, saving you from typing out details manually.
Manage Leads
View, edit, and export the contacts you have captured, directly from your phone. Leads captured via card scanning or manual entry appear in your Leads list in real time.
View Analytics
See how many times your profile has been viewed, which links have been clicked, and where your visitors are coming from — all from the mobile interface.

Installing as a PWA (Add to Home Screen)
Installing the PWA puts an NFC Tagify icon on your home screen and makes the app open full-screen, without browser navigation bars. It also enables faster loading on subsequent visits.
On iPhone (Safari)
The NFC Tagify icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open the app in full-screen mode.
On Android (Chrome)
The icon will appear on your home screen and app drawer.
On Android (Samsung Internet)

NFC Scanning on Mobile
Android
NFC is enabled by default on most Android devices. If NFC tap is not working:
- Go to Settings → Connections → NFC and make sure it is toggled on.
- Hold the NFC card flat against the back of the phone, near the top (where the NFC antenna typically sits).
iPhone
NFC background reading is supported on iPhone 7 and later running iOS 13 or above. No settings change is needed — simply hold the NFC card flat against the top-rear of the iPhone.
On older devices (iPhone 6s and below), NFC card reading is not supported.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the mobile app available on the App Store or Google Play?
No. NFC Tagify is a Progressive Web App (PWA). It is accessed via your browser and installed using "Add to Home Screen". This means it is always up to date without requiring app store updates.
Does the PWA work offline?
Basic navigation and previously loaded content may be available offline, but most features — including scanning, leads, and analytics — require an active internet connection.
My iPhone's NFC isn't reading cards. What should I do?
Make sure you are running iOS 13 or later. Hold the card flat against the top portion of the phone's back. If the card uses a chip frequency that your phone does not support, it will not be detected.
Can I use the mobile app on a tablet?
Yes. The portal is accessible and installable as a PWA on iPads and Android tablets, though the interface is optimised for phone-sized screens.
I installed the PWA but it's not updating. How do I refresh?
PWAs update automatically in the background. If you suspect you are on an outdated version, open the app, pull down to refresh, or close and reopen it. Clearing the browser cache for the site will also force a full reload.
