Tips for best results
- Use a simple logo — complex images with thin lines or gradients can look noisy behind a face
- Check contrast — light logos need a darker background; dark logos need a lighter one
- Test before you use it — enable the background in your app, start a test call, and check how it looks at different distances from your camera
- Recommended resolution — the generator outputs 1920 × 1080 (Full HD), which works for all major platforms; if your app requests 1280 × 720 the same file will scale down cleanly

Which video apps support custom backgrounds?
All major platforms do: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and most others. The generator outputs a standard PNG image that any app accepting uploaded backgrounds will accept.
What image size should I use for my logo?
Any PNG or JPEG at least 400 px wide will work. For sharpest results, use your logo at 800 px or higher. The generator maintains aspect ratio when you resize.
Can I use a photo as the background instead of a solid colour?
The current generator supports solid colours and two-colour gradients as the background. For a photo background, use the download and edit it in an image editor, or upload a full-frame branded photo as your "logo" asset and set it to fill the canvas.
Why does my background look pixelated?
If your source image is low resolution it may appear blurry when scaled up. Use the highest resolution version of your logo available, ideally an SVG exported to PNG at 2× your display size.
Is there a cost to use this tool?
The virtual background generator is included in all NFC Tagify plans at no extra charge.
Can I create backgrounds for my entire team?
Yes. Any portal user can generate their own. For a fully standardised look across a team, an admin can create one canonical background file and distribute it — or each team member can follow the same brand-colour settings.
