Help Center › NFC Card Ordering
Overview
NFC Tagify cards are physical cards with an embedded NFC chip. You order them through the portal, choose your card type and design, and they are printed and shipped to you. Once they arrive, you link each card to a profile and they are ready to use.
This page covers how to place an order, the options available, how to submit a design, and how to track your order.

How to start an order
[NEEDS VERIFICATION: exact menu label — may be "Order Cards", "Shop", or "Cards" depending on the portal version]
The ordering section shows the available card types, quantities, and pricing. You can start an order from here at any time.

What to choose
Quantity
Select how many cards you need. Pricing may be per unit with discounts at higher quantities. If you are ordering for a team, you can order a batch and link each card to a different team member's profile after delivery.
Card type and finish
NFC Tagify cards are available in different materials and finishes. Options typically include:
- Standard PVC card — similar to a credit card, lightweight and durable
- Metal card — heavier, premium feel, available in different finishes (matte, gloss, brushed)
- Bamboo or eco card — for sustainability-conscious users
[NEEDS VERIFICATION: exact card types and finishes currently available in the portal]
Each card type has the same NFC functionality — the choice is about how the card looks and feels in hand.
Design
You can choose how the printed front (and back) of the card looks. There are two routes:
Use a template: The portal includes a card design tool where you can apply your logo, choose colours, and arrange your information. Changes are previewed in real time. [NEEDS VERIFICATION: whether a visual template builder is available for card ordering, or whether design submission is always via file upload]
Submit a custom design: If you have a designer or want full control over the artwork, you can upload your own design file. See the section below on design submission requirements.
---
Submitting a design
If you are providing your own artwork, the file must meet certain specifications to print correctly.
General requirements:
- File format: PDF or high-resolution PNG/JPEG
- Resolution: 300 dpi or higher for sharp print quality
- Dimensions: Standard credit card size is 85.6 mm × 54 mm (3.375 in × 2.125 in). Your file should match this exactly, with a bleed area if required
- Bleed: Include at least 3 mm of bleed on all sides if your design extends to the edge of the card
- Colour mode: CMYK for accurate print colours
- Safe zone: Keep important text and logos at least 3 mm inside the card edge
[NEEDS VERIFICATION: whether NFC Tagify provides a design template download (e.g. an Adobe Illustrator or Figma file) and exact accepted file formats per the current ordering flow]
Once you have your file ready, upload it during the checkout process. If there is an issue with the file (resolution too low, incorrect dimensions, etc.), the team will contact you before printing begins.
If you are unsure about design files, the template builder in the portal is the easiest option — it handles all dimensions and bleed automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order cards for multiple team members in one order?
Yes. You can order a batch of cards in a single order. After they arrive, link each card individually to the relevant team member's profile.
Can I reorder cards with the same design?
Yes. Your previous orders are saved in the portal. You can typically reorder from your order history without re-uploading the design. [NEEDS VERIFICATION: whether reorder from history is available in the current portal]
What if my cards arrive with a print defect?
Contact support with your order reference and a photo of the issue. Defective cards will be reprinted or replaced.
Can I order a single card to test before buying in bulk?
[NEEDS VERIFICATION: whether single-card orders are available or whether there is a minimum order quantity]
Do the cards expire?
No. The NFC chip has no expiry date, and your digital profile remains live as long as your account is active. If your subscription lapses, the profile may go offline, but the card itself does not wear out.
Can I use cards on a reseller or white-label account?
Yes. If your account is managed through a reseller, the ordering process may look slightly different or be handled through a branded portal. Contact your reseller administrator if the Order Cards section is not visible in your portal.
