This page lists every section available in the NFC Tagify Visual Profile Builder, with a description of what each section shows, whether it is dynamic or static, and the key configuration options available.

Section types
Sections come in two types:
| Type | How content works |
|------|------------------|
| Dynamic | Reads live data from a profile, team, or company record. Update the record and the section updates everywhere. |
| Static | Content is entered directly in the builder. Fixed until you edit the template. |
Dynamic sections also have a data source setting (User, Team, or Company) that controls which record they read from. See [Data Sources](./template-visual-builder/data-sources.md) for details.

Header
Type: Dynamic
A full-width hero area — typically the first section on any template.
Shows: Background/banner image with the profile photo overlaid on top. Optionally displays the profile owner's name below the photo.
Key options:
- Toggle profile photo on/off
- Toggle name display on/off
- Display mode: image only, name only, or image with name
- Upload a background image directly in the template
- Adjust photo size and crop (circular or square)

Profile Info
Type: Dynamic
Primary text identity of the profile — the information a visitor reads immediately after the header.
Shows: Full name, job title, department, company name, and headline/tagline.
Key options:
- Toggle each field on/off individually
- Override any field with static text
- Adjust font size, weight, alignment, and colour per field

Contact Details
Type: Dynamic
A structured list of contact fields. Each field is independently toggleable.
Shows: Work email, personal email, mobile phone, work phone, website, address.
Key options:
- Toggle each field on/off
- Display style: plain text, button, or link
- Icon style: show icon, hide icon, or icon only
- Data source can be set at section level

Social Media Links
Type: Dynamic
Displays the profile's social network and website links.
Shows: All active social links and custom website links added to the data source record.
Key options:
- Display style: plain list, buttons, or icon-only row
- Icon size: small, medium, or large
- Icon colour and spacing
- Data source: User, Team, or Company

Call to Action (CTA)
Type: Dynamic
A prominent button for the most important action on the profile. The default action is Add to Contacts — a vCard file download pre-filled with the contact's details.
Shows: A customisable button. On click, the visitor downloads a vCard contact file.
Key options:
- Button label text
- Button colour, border radius, and width
- Data source controls whose details are included in the vCard

Text
Type: Static
A free-form text block for any custom copy.
Shows: Any text you type, with full formatting options.
Key options:
- Rich text: bold, italic, headings, bullet lists, hyperlinks
- Text alignment
- Font size and colour
- Background colour and padding

Button
Type: Static
A standalone call-to-action button that links to a URL or a document.
Shows: A labelled button. On click, the visitor is taken to a URL or a file download.
Key options:
- Button label
- Destination: URL or uploaded document (PDF, image, etc.)
- Button colour, width, alignment, border radius
- Open in same tab or new tab

Divider
Type: Static
A horizontal rule used to separate sections visually.
Key options:
- Line colour and thickness (1–4 px)
- Width: full-width or inset
- Margin above and below

Single Image
Type: Static
A single image block.
Shows: One image with optional click-through link.
Key options:
- Upload image or paste URL
- Crop style: fill, contain, or original
- Border radius
- Optional link URL
- Max width and alignment

Image Row
Type: Static
Two images displayed side by side in a two-column layout.
Shows: Two images with equal or unequal column widths.
Key options:
- Upload or link each image separately
- Column width ratio
- Gap between images
- Each image can have its own link
On narrow mobile screens the images may stack vertically — check the Preview to confirm the layout.

Video
Type: Static
An embedded video player.
Supported sources: YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, direct MP4 URL.
Key options:
- Paste the video URL — the embed is generated automatically
- Autoplay on/off (off by default)
- Loop on/off
- Aspect ratio: 16:9, 4:3, or square

Custom HTML
Type: Static (with optional data binding)
A raw HTML and CSS block for advanced users who need full control over a section's appearance.
Shows: Whatever valid HTML you write.
Key options:
- Code editor with syntax highlighting
- Optional reference to profile data tokens [NEEDS VERIFICATION: full token list]
- Use for third-party widget embeds, custom layouts, or branded elements not covered by other sections
Always test in the Preview before saving. Invalid HTML can disrupt the surrounding layout.

Additional sections (plan-dependent)
The following sections may appear in your builder depending on your plan or template configuration. Availability may vary:

| QR Code | The profile's QR code embedded in the page |
| User Bio / About | Dynamic or custom-written bio |
| Experience | Work history entries (title, company, dates, description) |
| Education | Education entries (degree, institution, dates) |
| Skills | Skills list with optional proficiency level |
| Services | Service offerings with title, description, and icon |
| Team List | Grid or list of team members with name, role, and photo |
| Brand Banner | Full-width company banner image |
| Brand Statement | Company mission or vision statement |
| Legal Notice / Brand Footer | Copyright or legal footer text |
| Spacer | Empty spacing block (small, medium, or large height) |
If a section you expect is not visible in your builder, check your account plan or contact support.
