Important Design Specifications for Your Cards

When it comes to customizing your PVC, wooden, or metal cards, it’s essential to follow specific design guidelines to ensure the best possible print quality. Please note that if you're submitting an image for printing, it will be printed on only one side of the card unless you specify that you want it printed on both sides.

Design Specifications:

Image Dimensions
For the best results, ensure your artwork meets the following size specifications:
- Size: 146.7 x 88.6 mm, 1036 x 664 pixels (3.46" x 2.22") or a ratio equivalent to it.
- File Types Accepted: JPEG, PNG, JPG, PDF, AI.
Bleeding Margin
Please allow a bleeding margin of 1-2 mm around the edge of the card design. Avoid placing any sensitive information such as text or numbers close to the edge, as the printing on the card might be cut off at the edges by 1-2 mm.

Additional Tips:

For engraved cards, it's important to choose the right type of design to achieve the best results. Personal photos or highly detailed images will not translate well when engraved and may lose their clarity and appeal. However, simple, bold designs—such as logos, initials, or minimalistic artwork—will look stunning even with just one color.

Keep in mind that colors will not appear on engraved metal or wooden cards as they do on printed cards; instead, you'll see the natural color of the metal or wood. This creates a clean, elegant look that is perfect for minimalist designs and straightforward visuals.
